Link Regina Jollivette Frazier of the Greater Miami Chapter of the Links, Incoporated was the Ninth National President of the Links, Incorporated.
Hosted the 14th National Assembly of The Links, Incorporated, June 25-28,1964, at the Nassau Beach Hotel, Nassau, Bahamas. This marked the first time in the history of The Links that they met outside the Continental United States
Hosted the 26th National Assembly of The Links, Incorporated, June 25 – July 2, 1988, in Miami Beach, Florida with the Dade County, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach Chapters.
Link Anne T. Herriott of the Greater Miami Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is the Nineteenth Southern Area Director of the Links, Incorporated.
Hosted the 42nd Southern Area Conference of The Links, Incorporated, May 8 - May 12th, 2013, in Miami, Florida with the Dade County and Biscayne Bay Chapters.

The Greater Miami Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is a public service, non-partisan volunteer organization which provides service to women, youth and the elderly in the Greater Miami community since 1955.
We are a dedicated group of women committed to serving our community through programs emphasizing Services to Youth, The Arts, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.
The Greater Miami Chapter has made significant contributions to the community and the National organization. In 1964, the chapter hosted the 14th National Assembly of The Links, Incorporated in Nassau, Bahamas, marking the first time in history that the organization officially met outside of the United States. In 1988 the chapter co-hosted the 26th National Assembly in Miami Beach. Greater Miami Chapter has the distinction of having several members contribute to the accomplishment of the goals of The Links, Incorporated at the area and national levels, most prominently, Regina Jollivette Frazier who served in leadership in the Southern Area and National levels reaching the highest office as the Ninth National President, 1986-1990. Other members who have served in National and Southern Area positions or honored include: Maude K. Reid, Southern Area Director and National Nominating Committee; Gwendolyn H. Welters, Southern Area Chairperson, International Trends and Services, 1979-1982, National Director, National Trends and Services, 1982-1986 and member of the National Lexicon Committee representing alumna members, 2005; The Honorable Frederica S. Wilson, 1996 National Services to Youth Award for 500 Role Models of Excellence; Valda Clark Christian, National Elections Committee, 2007-2009 and National Affairs Committee, 2009; Robbie Bell, National Governance Committee, 2008-2010; and Anne T. Herriott, Southern Area Director 2015, Southern Area Secretary 2011-2013, National Committee of Secretaries 2011-2013, Southern Area Technology Chair 2007-2011, and National Technology Committee 2007-2011.
Through our community involvement, we contribute to the formulation of a positive, productive, and culturally diverse society, focusing on education, cultural enrichment, health and wellness and civic involvement. This focus is implemented through strategies such as in public information and education, economic development, and public policy.
We are active in the Greater Miami community and through our volunteerism, we partner with various organizations to help create a better Miami.
Greater Miami Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has a very illustrious and significant history that began when three ingenious and charming organizers, Susie W. Francis, Maude K. Reid, and Mayme E. Williams, united with fifteen other Charter Members to establish the Chapter.
On November 5, 1955 at 2:00 p.m., in the lounge of the Carver Hotel, the following charter members were installed into Greater Miami Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Eloise K. Bannerman, Alma F. Brooks, Charlotte F. Clarke, Lugusta Colston, Louise Davis, Gussie M. Dobbs, Constance Douglas, Linnie Fannin, Susie Francis, Bernice Kemp, Hulda Lyttle, Theoria T. Houston, Dora Patterson, Maude K. Reid, Walton Y. Robinson, Margaret Styles, Mayme E. Williams and Mary F. Williams.
Immediately following the installation ceremony of the Chapter, officers were installed at the home of Link Susie Francis during an elegant dinner meeting. The first officers were Link Maude K. Reid – President; Link Susie W. Francis – Vice President; Link Gussie Dobbs – Secretary; Link Lugusta Colston – Treasurer; and Link Margaret Styles – Financial Secretary. Greater Miami Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was sponsored by The Orlando Chapter and installed by Link Georgia Schanck, Southern Area Director.
